Gary Russell Bell, 69, of Martins Ferry, OH, went home to be with the Lord and his mom and dad on September 12, 2019, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was a gentle soul who honored his mother and father all of their lives. His late parents were Merle and Mabel (Gasaway) Bell.

Gary was a transport moving technician, and a lifelong resident of Martins Ferry.

He is survived by his brothers Ronnie L.(Judy) Bell and Merle W. ((Vangie) Bell of Cambridge, OH, Robert L. (Shirley) Bell, Charles E. "Butch" Bell and Wilbur Bell of Martins Ferry, his special niece Tina Bell, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut Street, Martins Ferry, OH, on Monday, September 16, 2019, from 11:00 am until time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm, with Rev. William Webster officiating. Burial follows at Riverview Cemetery. Martins Ferry, OH.
