Gary Paul Cefus, 75, of Dillonvale, died Saturday October 1, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born June 27, 1941 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Steve and Lottie (Talasis) Cefus. He was a retired employee of Belmont Community Hospital Bellaire, and a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church Dillonvale. Gary was a loving husband, caring father, grandfather, and friend. He loved to cook, he was a history buff, and a avid Cleveland sport's fan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Randy Cefus. Gary is survived by his loving wife Betty Lou (Balazsi) Cefus, two sons Jeff P. (Barb) Cefus of Dillonvale, and Michael P. Cefus of Youngstown, OH, a brother Dennis (Louise) Cefus of Brookpark, OH, three grandchildren Amanda Cefus and her fiancAC. Mark Carson, Jason Cefus, and Jelena Cefus. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale on Tuesday October 4, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Adalbert Catholic Church Dillonvale with Msgr. John Kolesar as celebrant, wake service will be recited at 7:30 pm at the Funeral Home, interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery Dillonvale.
