Gary Wayne Johnson, 70, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born January 1, 1945 in Flushing, Ohio, son of the late Charles Johnson and Lora Blake Johnson. He enjoyed many varieties of antiques. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Johnson, Jr., Walter Blake; sisters, Myrtle Whipkey, Betty Rueter, Dorothy Talbot, and Gladys Burghy. Gary is survived by his sisters, Ruth Rushin of Barnesville, OH, Barbara Gallagher of Waynesburg, PA, Charlotte Mayberry of Akron, OH, Phyllis Giesey of Cleveland, OH; brothers, Carl and Dale Johnson of Barnesville, OH, Kenny Johnson of Flushing, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and special companion, Shirley Hennebert of Barnesville, OH. Honoring Gary's wishes, there will be no visitation and a private service and interment will be conducted at the convenience of his family.
