Obituary

Geneva V. "Jenny" (Smith) Habig, 90, of Senecaville, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born December 11, 1927, in Maynard, OH, a daughter of the late George and Nellie (Rice) Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland R. Habig, her brothers, George, Edward, Ted, and Roland Smith, and her sister, Julia Sykes.
Surviving are her sons; Roland "Ron" (Sally) Habig of St. Clairsville, and Gary A. (Sharon) Habig of Belmont, OH, and her daughters; Debi Palmer and Shari Bowen both of Senecaville, OH, and her seven grandchildren; Ronnie (Fallon) Habig, Brian (Brittany) Habig, Steve (Dottie) Palmer, Jenna Palmer, Jennifer (Ben) Conrad, Shayla Bowen, and Breana (Dylan) Speakman, and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut Street, Martins Ferry, OH, where services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 11:00 AM with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
