Genevie E. Michalo,81, of Dillonvale, died Wednesday August 27, 2008 at Sienna Pointe Care Center, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. She was born May 8, 1927, the daughter of the late David and Edna (Francis) Fithen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward G Michalo; a son Ed "Hujack" Michalo; three brothers Roy, Dave, and Kenney Fithen; and a sister Evelyn Verhovec. Genevie is survived by four sons Roger and his wife Linda Michalo of Dillonvale, Larry and his wife Karen of Mt. Pleasant, Roy and his wife Robin of Dillonvale, and Randy and his wife Marge of Dillonvale; two daughters Linda Koran and her husband Andrew of Dillonvale and Shirley Greaves of Dillonvale; twelve grandchildren along with five Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received on Friday from 5 - 8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, where services will be held on Saturday at 10 am with Rev. Michael Lenno officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
