Genevieve Saffell, 94, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away at her home on May 11, 2023.  She was born on November 15, 1928 to the late William J. Brown and Mabel (Wells) Brown.

Genevieve enjoyed flowers, gardening, canning, and Bingo.  She loved being with her family the most.

In addition to her parents, Gen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Saffell; daughter, Doris Cunningham; son, Terry Saffell; brothers, Harry, Donald, Leroy Brown; sisters, Anna Carrothers, and Lila Boyle.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Robert Saffell, Bernard Saffell; daughter, Gloria Whittaker; grandchildren, Sabrina, Shawn, Preston, Adam, Lacy, Jesse, Brandy, Alex, Blake plus many great-grandchildren.

All services are private.  Her final resting place will be at Ebenezer Cemetery.  Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 E. Main St., Barnesville, Ohio 43713, is assisting the family.
