GENO J. BIONDI, 80, of Lansing, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Peterson Rehabilitation and Geriatric Center in Wheeling. He was born December 24, 1928 in Lansing, the son of the late Joseph and Eugenia (Peruzzi) Biondi. Geno was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and retired after 42 years with Mountaineer Gas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Hugo and Mario Biondi; and three sisters Clara, Julia and Lena. Geno is survived by his wife Teresa (Parisi) Biondi; a son Joe and his wife Kim of Pleasant Grove; a daughter Nancy Gross and her husband Gary of Cincinnati; three grandchildren Jared, Bethany and Courtney; and a great granddaughter Lillian. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where Vigil services will be held at 2 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Father John Mucha as the celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt.
