George A. "Rabbits" Timko, 92, of Bridgeport, OH died May 10, 2018 at his home.  He was born December 7, 1925, in Barton, OH, a son of the late Michael and, Anna (Pipa) Timko.  He was a retired truck-driver for the Teamsters Local in Steubenville, a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII where he was in the 17th Airborne Paratroopers, was a member of the V.F.W., and St. Joseph Catholic Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Doleski) Timko; siblings, Michael "Pen," John "Fluff," Joseph "Cabbage," Stephen "Jackson," William "Bayla," Peter "Buck" Timko, Mary Majanscik, Ann Good, Marge Jenkins, Margaret Timko, and Elizabeth Timko.  George is survived by his children; Gary (Patty) Timko of Moundsville, WV, Mike "Bunny" Timko of Lansing, Sandra (Tom) Ikey of Bridgeport, Georgia (Randy) Mellott of St. Clairsville; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Flo Timko of Lansing, Betty Timko of Wolfhurst; and several nieces and nephews.    Friends will be received Monday, May 14 from 4-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10am with Fr.
