George Bell, 86, of Martins Ferry passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026. He was born on October 31, 1939, the son of the late Edward and Mary Jane (Williams) Bell.

George was a veteran of the United States Army and was known for the many jobs that he worked throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Edward Bell and Charles Bell, and brother-in-law, Robert L. Moore.

Surviving is his sister, Ocie Moore, sister-in-law, Shirley Bell and numerous nieces and nephews.

All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935.
