George P. Frazier, 94 of Wheeling formerly of Martins Ferry passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at Forest Hills Nursing Home in St. Clairsville, OH.  He was born August 4, 1929, in Wheeling, WV the son of the late William V. and Clara (Yoe) Frazier, Jr.

George was a retired Assistant V.P. and Manager of the former Peoples Bank, as well as a branch manager of the Colerain facility, a member of Christ United Methodist Church and Christ Community Church of Wheeling and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the air rescue division.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years Janet M. (Caruth) Frazier in 2019, infant daughter, Kathleen Ann, brother's John P. Frazier, Frank G Frazier, and Robert Frazier

Left to cherish his memory are his children, George S. (Debra) Frazier of Wheeling, Michael E. (Charlene)Frazier of Williamstown, WV, Cheryl A. Frazier of Columbus, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and brother William M. (Teena) Frazier of Cyprus Greece.

In keeping with his wishes all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935 is assisting the family.
