George E. ""Yogi"" Kryston, Sr., 78 of Bridgeport, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. He was born February 21, 1930 in Blaine, OH a son of the late Valentine and Antonia Kasper Kryston. He was a retired shipper from the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation in Martins Ferry. George was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Lansing's Sportsmans Club. In additional to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Frances Jean ""Fran"" Kovach Kryston, five sisters and one brother. George is survived by his son, George E. Kryston Jr. and his wife Jane of St Clairsville; a grand daughter, Nicole ""Nikki"" Kryston of Tiltonsville, two step grandsons, Nic and Lane Fledderus of St. Clairsville; a sister, Carolyn Klinkoski of Lansing. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside. A Vigil Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St Joseph's Catholic Church with Father John Mucha as the celebrant.
