Obituary

George K. Nagy Sr. 67, of St. Clairsville, died, on Monday May 11, 2015, at his home. He was born June 27, 1947, in Wheeling, a son of Martha (Surowka) Nagy, of Blaine and the late Frank Nagy. He was a retired employee, of Top Hat Stove, in Wheeling, a veteran of the US Army, the Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church Blaine, the Cave Club Wheeling, the Bridgeport Foresters, and the American Legion Post 159. In addition, to his father, he was preceded, in death, by his loving wife Diane (Couture) Nagy. George is survived, by his children; George K. (Grace) Nagy Jr., of Bridgeport, Brian L. Nagy, of Glen Dale, Connie (Wilbur) Sines, Sheri (Gary) Darby, and Cindy Yeager all of MD, his brothers; Frank L. (Geri) Nagy, of Bridgeport, Richard (Ann) Nagy,of FL., Steve (Kay) Nagy, of Blaine, his sisters; Martha L. Fisher, of FL., Judy Flanegin, of Blaine, Fran (Ron) Kope, and Helen (Ed) Hitchman, both of Wheeling, Suzie Nagy, of Bellaire, and Mary (Dick) Lyle, of Bridgeport, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Friends will be received, at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside, on Friday May 15, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held, on Saturday, at 11 am, with Rev. Ela Robertson officiating, interment, in Linwood Cemetery Blaine. Full military services will be conducted, by the Belmont County Veterans Association, on Saturday, at 10:45, at the Funeral Home.
