RUMORA, George Richard, 70, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Sunday February 19, 2012 at Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 5, 1941 in Wheeling, W.Va., a son of the late George Richard Rumora Sr. and Ruth Schnelle Rumora Garrett. He was a retired employee of Laborers Local #1149 of Wheeling, a longtime member of Wolfhurst Vol. Fire Department, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Rumora. George is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra Matz Rumora; a daughter Helen Ann Ice (Rick) of Wolfhurst; four sisters: Marguerite "Marge" Davidson of AZ., Patricia Fitzwater (Timothy) of N. Holmstead, Ohio, Alice Bell (Allen) of Bridgeport, Ruth Brito (Jack) of Canby, Oregon; and two grandchildren: Andy Ice and Lexie Ice. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where vigil service will be held at 2:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday February 23, 2012 at 10: 00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, with Rev. John Mucha as celebrant.
