George P. Shultz Jr. 70 of Martins Ferry passed away Sunday January 10, 2021 at his Home. He was born February 16, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late George P. Sr. and Mary (Duvall) Shultz. He was retired from CONSOL coal Co. and a Veteran in the US Army in Vietnam. He was a member of the Cadiz Presbyterian Church, the Cadiz American Legion Post # 34 where he was past commander, the Redman Club Martins Ferry where he was past Sachem, he also was a retired member of the Cadiz Fire Dept. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Kathy L. (Alltop) Shultz. George is survived by his children Scott Shultz of Toronto, Chris (Diane) Shultz of Wintersville, Preston (Janet) Shultz of Weirton, Tawnya Kidd of Steubenville, Lisa (Mark) Vassey of Gaffney, SC, and Brandy (Joe) Salah of Greenville, SC, a brother Raymond (Mary Ellen) Patterson of Mogadore, OH, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry on Tuesday January 12, 2021 from 2 pm till time of service at 6 pm. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
