George Bartolovic Sr., 82, formerly of Benwood, W.Va. and Oceanside, Calif., passed Monday May 21, 2012 at Trinity East, Steubenville, Ohio. He was born in Benwood on December 29, 1929, a son of the late George and Rose Starkey Bartolovic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Andrew Bartolovic. He was a retired truck driver with United Van Lines. George is survived by his former wife Etta Bartolovic of Oceanside, a son Dave Jr. (Tina) Bartolovic of Shadyside, Ohio; two step daughters: Sandra Smith and Debra Yenwine; a sister Shirley Reed, all of Calif., a grandson Jason Bartolovic of Waynesboro, Va. Services will be private with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. The family is being assisted by Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio.
