George Joseph Zigo, 80 of Bellaire, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, in Country Club Retirement Center. He was born on June 8, 1941, in Wheeling a son of the late Paul and Rose (Rosko) Zigo. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a car enthusiast. He is survived by a brother, John Zigo of Wheeling WV.

George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Zigo and two sisters, RoseMarie Visvary and Mary Ann Zigo.

Friends may call Wednesday January 26th from 11 am to 1 pm, in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, where funeral services will be held at 1 pm, with Fr. Mucha officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in George's memory to the Food Pantry at St. Anthony's Hall - 630 Main St, Bridgeport, OH 43912
