Together Again
Georgia Lee Milbert, 93, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Martins Ferry, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, in her home. She was born on November 13, 1930, a daughter of the late Howard Hall and Francis (Hardwick) Waslis. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry, enjoyed gardening, baseball, volunteering at Purple Riders sporting events, and going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events. Before retiring she worked for the Gift Shop at Wheeling Medical Park. Georgia was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and OSU football fan.
She is survived by her children, Shawn White (William Lippert), Debbie (Joseph) Suriano and Kim Train; a daughter-in-law, Michelle (Matt) Reven; a sister, Karen (Tim) Carroll; six grandchildren, Paul (Dana) White III, Amanda (Brian) Bell, Pria (Michael) Myers, Tiffani (Patrick) Doyle, Tara (Michael) Bailey and Tyler (Jamie) Train; eleven great grandchildren, Eli, Emmett, Ethan, Grant, Shelby, Mason, Zoe, Alanna, Finley, Allister and Adeline.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Milbert; a son, Mark Milbert; a sister, Jeannett Orzolek, and an infant brother.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:30 in the Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.
