Geraldine R. (Campbell) Harris, 88, of Palm Valley Dr., East, Harlingen, TX, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, OH died Fri., Nov. 26, 2004 at home. She was born June 4, 1916 in Vandergraft, PA a daughter of the late Samuel Scott and Carrie (Shumaker) Campbell. She was a fifty year member of the Grace Presbyterian Church where she was active with the Women's Circle, and Bible Study Group and the Garden Club of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Harris, a son Tom Harris and a sister Alma Campbell. Surviving are four sons Leslie Harris and his wife Sarah of Phillipsburgh, OH, Terry Harris and his wife Becky of Zanesville, OH, Doug Harris and his wife Julie of San Diego, CA, and James Harris and his wife Cecile of Mt. Pleasant , two daughters Nancy Gillogly and her husband Harold and Jackie Harris Gilles and her husband Tim both of Harlingen, TX, a brother Sam Campbell of Steubenville, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends will be received Tues 6-8 PM and Wed 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral services will be held Thurs Dec. 2, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Grace Presbyterian Church, 4th & Hanover St., Martins Ferry with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville. Services of Comfort by the Elders of Grace Presbyterian Church will be held Wed at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
