Geraldine Marie Ricker, 97, of Colerain, died Thursday, June 17, 2021, in her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Bridgeport on June 2, 1924, a daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (O'Malley) Weekley.  She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's Society.  Geraldine graduated from the Wheeling Hospital School of Nursing and retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel as an Industrial Nurse.  She was an avid gardener, cook, seamstress and enjoyed traveling and reading.

She is survived by her children, Jean (Robert) Austin, Terry (Marsha) Ricker, Maryellen Miller and Carolyn (John) Ostojich; 4 grandchildren, Michael (Elissa) Ricker, Erik Ostojich, Erin (Eric) Crook and Meghan Miller; 5 great grandchildren, Alden Miller, Lyla Ostojich, Landon Ostojich, Scarlett Ricker and Aria Brown and her beloved dog Buddy.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin "Pete" Ricker in 2000; a daughter, Joan Finneran; 2 sisters, Dorothy Lloyd and Margaret Link and a son-in-law, Steven Miller.

Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 am in St. Frances of Cabrini Catholic Church, 72581 State Rout 250, Colerain, with Father William Cross officiating.  Burial will follow in Weeks Cemetery.
