Gertrude E. (Habig) Wolfe O'Connor, 92, died Monday, September 7, 2020 in Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, OH. She was born September 27, 1927 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Lawrence and Syvilla (Rose) Habig.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by first husband, Stanley Wolfe and her second husband, Fredrick E. "Red" O'Connor, her children: Charmagne (Wolfe) Goldberg and Lelani Wolfe, siblings: James, Syvilla "Sis", Roland, Richard, and Alma Habig and Anna Billingsley.

Surviving are children: Kimberly (Kurt) Reed of Colerain and April (Chris) Wheeler of TX, siblings: Charles Habig of Woodsville, OH, Emma Billingley of Rayland, OH, Lawrence Habig of Shadyside, Bob Habig and Nancy Yoder both of Martins Ferry, Mary (Bill) Henry of New Philadelphia, OH, Bill (Jackie) Habig of Clarington, Tom (Pam) Habig of St. Clairsville, OH and sister-in-law, Rita Habig of Piedmont, OH, three grandchildren: Barbara (Don) Mew, Brianna Wycherley, and Kassy (Eric) Johnston and 3 great grandchildren: Adam and Nathan Mew and Connor Wycherley.

Private funeral services will be held at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
