Gideon A. Jewell, 78, of Bellaire,Ohio died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Ohio Valley Medical Center. He was born February 25, 1937. A loving father and grandfather, Gideon was a lifelong farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy L. Jewell. Gideon is survived by his daughters, Loretta (Lonnie) Cruise of Bellaire, Ohio, Vicki Jewel, Ila (John) Jewell all of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth (Andrew), Amber (Bruce, Jr.), Lisa, Stacey, Bettie, and Taylor; five great-grandchildren; companion, Connie; and a host of adopted children and grandchildren. Family and friends will be welcome to visit, Friday fro 10 a.m., until the time of service beginning at noon, Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Interment will be at the convenience of Gideon's family.
