Blatnik, Gladys 89, of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Lansing, died Sunday June 24, 2012 at Park Health Center St. Clairsville. She was born July 3, 1922 in Blaine a daughter of the late John and Gladys Bentkowski Wieleba. Gladys formerly worked as deputy clerk for the Belmont County Clerk of Courts, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, and the CWC of the Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband John L. Blatnik in 2004, two sisters Jen Bohus, and Stella Potnick. Gladys is survived by a son Dr. Jay (Maureen) Blatnik of Powell, Ohio, a daughter Johnette Pollock of St. Clairsville, a sister Evelyn Cencula of Cincinnati, grandchildren Jeff (Miranda), Travis, and Paul Pollock, Mara and Sara Blatnik, and one great granddaughter Ava Pollock. Members of the family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Thursday June 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be recited on Friday at 10 am. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
