Obituary

GLENN W. RADCLIFFE, 73, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 4, 1936 in Fairmont, WV, daughter of the late Orville and Ethel Bell (Harker) Fisher. Glenn was a retired landscaper for Wheeling Jesuit College in Wheeling. He was a member of the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the US Army 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Thompson) Radcliffe. Glenn is survived by two daughters, Brenda Moore and Cheryl Lynn Barricklow, both of Bridgeport; three grandchildren, Tiffany Moore of Bellaire, Dusty Moore of Bridgeport and Robert Radcliffe and his wife Mellisa of St. Clairsville; two great grandchildren, Xander Radcliffe and Lyriq Stevens; a brother Eugene Harker and his wife Patricia of Belpre, OH; and his best friend Taco. Special thanks to Jeanie Kurtz, Jenn Pelky and Reverend David Demarest for being our spine when we had none. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. You are then invited to attend visitation Tuesday from 10 am until the time of Glenn's funeral services at 11 am at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church with Reverend David Demarest officiating. Interment will be private at Radcliffe Cemetery in Fairmont, WV. The Belmont County Council of the VFW will conduct full military services.
