Goldie I. Bethel, 85, of Flushing, Ohio, died, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Liza's Place. She was born August 15, 1929 in Western Port, Maryland, daughter of the late Roy Pritts and Anna Brinkman Pritts.
Believing in putting her heart and soul into life and living it to the fullest, Goldie remained very active and was playing tennis at 80 years old. She also enjoyed doing farm work well into her later years. Truly, an amazing woman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard D Bethel; brother, Bud Pritts; and sister, Helen Pearl Paschal.
Goldie is survived by her daughter, Donna (Kenny) Mahr of Flushing, Ohio; son, Ron (Ella-Marie) Bethel of Texas; grandson, Clay Bethel; and sister, Gladys I. Bethel of Florida.
Honoring Goldie's wishes, there will not be any visitation and a private service with interment will be conducted at the convenience of her family.
