Grace E. (Tunt) Fowler Bauers, 85, of Sunset Heights, Bridgeport, OH, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Liza's Place Valley Hospice South, Wheeling, WV. She was born Aug. 12, 1928 in Bridgeport a daughter of the late Ellsworth C. and Grace (Turley) Tunt. She graduated from Bridgeport High School and worked for many years as secretary to the Medical Director of Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Duff Fowler, second husband, Paul L. Bauers, son Charles Duff Fowler, sisters; Leah Schell and Lucille Morgan and brothers; Charles and Myron Tunt. Surviving are her daughters; Sue (Jim) Hamilton of Sunset Heights and Jan (Martin) Lucki of St. Clairsville, OH, a sister, Adelaide Maguire of Sunset Heights, daughter-in-law, Vicky Fowler, grandchildren; Andy (Lena) Bartolovich, Marty (Tara) Lucki, Matt (Hilary) Lucki, Heather (Heath) Lane, Heath Hamilton, Dominic Simone, and Laney (Jenna) Simone, eight great grandchildren and many close nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from noon until time of services at 1:30 pm with Rev. Margie Carr officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Lancaster Chapel Methodist Church, 70015 Sunset Heights, Bridgeport, OH 43912 or Liza's Place, 308 Mt.
