Grant W. Hayne, 57, of Washington D.C. died Monday, February 25, 2019 in Alexandria, VA. He was born March 3, 1962 in E. Chicago, IN a son of the late Wilbur L. Hayne, Jr. and Jane V. (Barr) Hayne.

Grant was in foreign service with the U.S. State Dept. serving in Germany. He graduated from West Point and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are his wife, April (McConnell) Hayne, his children; Sofia and Noah Hayne and his three brothers; Bruce R. Hayne, Reed B. Hayne and Webb L. Hayne.

A graveside service with full military honors was held in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH on Saturday, June 22, 2019.
