GREGORY P. ROSKOVICH, SR, 46, of Rayland, died Friday, July 11, 2008 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born October 21, 1961 in Martins Ferry, the son of the late Joseph Roskovich, Jr. and Elaine (Hungerman) Roskovich of Lansing. Gregory was a veteran of the United States Navy. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter Marie and a step brother Fred. In addition to his mother, Gregory is survived by his girlfriend Jackie Thacker with whom he resided in Rayland; a son Gregory Jr. of Bridgeport; four daughters Autum Roskovich of Bellaire, Kari Vandevender of Wheeling, and Shyanne and Diane Scott both of Wheeling; a brother Joseph Troy Roskovich and his wife Vera of Lansing; a grandson Eric Vandevender; as well as several step-sons and daughters and step-brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 pm until the time of the funeral services at 7 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, with Father Michael Simon officiating.
