Gregory C. Spencer, 50, of Adams St., Steubenville, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH went to be with the Lord, Sat., April 22, 2006 at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela, PA. He was born May 26, 1955 in Martins Ferry a son of Grover C. Spencer, Jr. and the late Florence E. (Bullard) Spencer. He was a truck driver for Fraley & Schilling Trucking Co. of Brilliant, OH, and a member of the Christian Truckers Assoc. and the Full Gospel Ministries. Surviving in addition to his father of Martins Ferry are his wife Debbie (Eshbaugh) Spencer, three daughters Ashley, Rebekah, and Rachael Spencer and a son Joseph Spencer all of the home, two brothers James C. Spencer of Toledo, OH and Grover C. Spencer, III of Martins Ferry, and four sisters Joyce (William) Brooks of St. Clairsville, OH, Janet (Willie) Ford of Bellaire, OH, Rowena (Roy) Cochran of Wheeling, WV, and Gloria Butler of Phoenix, AZ. Friends will be received Tues. 6-8 PM and Wed., April 26, 2006 from 11 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rocky Jenkins officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
