H. "Alan" Jackson, 76 of Bridgeport passed away Monday, March 22, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born December 7, 1946, the son of the late Herman and Mary (Kerpita) Jackson.

He was catholic by faith, a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the Bridgeport Auto Parts,  as well as Mellotts Auto  Parts in Shadyside and Bellaire and a member of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Ohio Valley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Jackson.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Roger (Susan) Jackson of San Antonio, Texas, along with his cousin Maureen Bishop of Bridgeport and several other cousins.

Family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, OH on Wednesday, March 29, 2023,  from 9 till time of service at 11am with Rev. James Hoff officiating.
