HAROLD WOODFORD, 87, of St. Clairsville, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Forest Hill Retirement Community in St. Clairsville. He was born August 20, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, the son of the late Oscar and Mary ""Belle"" (Davis) Woodford. Harold retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville Plant and was a veteran of the United States Army during WW II with the Medical Corp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Gilbert and Brent Woodford and Delford Digman; two sisters Ethel McHugh and Ruth Wonnacott. Harold is survived by his wife Lucille (Williams) Woodford of St. Clairsville; a son Harold ""Bud"" Woodford and his wife Bonnie of Colerain; a daughter Doris Dodd and her husband Jon of Hickory, NC; two step sons Dennis Jackson of Mt. Pleasant and Donald Jackson and his wife Donna Sue of St. Clairsville; a step daughter Nancy Ronevich and her husband Jack of St. Clairsville; as well as ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 pm with family friend Joel Ignace officiating.
