Harry W. "Spike" Johnson, Jr., 58, of S. Third St., Martins Ferry, OH formerly of Bridgeport, OH died Fri., Sept. 28, 2007 at home. He was born Mar., 10, 1949 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Harry W. Sr., and Sarah Esther (Robinson) Johnson. He was an employee of the Super Mail, Inc, Wheeling, WV and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Bridgeport, OH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Winbush. Surviving are his wife Michele (DiMarco) Johnson, three sons Harry W. Johnson, III of Columbus, OH, Byron (Celeste) Johnson of Nutley, NJ, and Anthony Deprist, of Yorkville, OH, a daughter Thresa Deprist of Martins Ferry, a sister Christine Catlipp of Dayton, OH and four grandchildren Marcus and Sadie Johnson, and Jaden and Adreanne Deprist. An informal gathering of family and friends will be held Sat., Oct. 6, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 200 Howard St., Bridgeport, OH. Interment at the convenience of the family.
