Harry J. Shrieve, 61, of Scotch Ridge, Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Mar. 19, 2013 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Jan. 3, 1952 in Wheeling a son of the late Harry U. and Dorothy (Krinke) Shrieve. He was an employee of Colgate Palmolive of Cambridge, OH. Harry was a member of Friends Church, Mt. Pleasant, OH and was proud to have attained the rank of Eagle Scout as a young man. He enjoyed playing golf, but his greatest love was his daughters and grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Sondra (Wilke) Shrieve, two daughters; Mandy J. (Michael) Shebeck of Pittsburgh, PA and Summer Shrieve of Pleasant Grove, OH, step-children; Jeremy and Brittany Freese both of Martins Ferry, a brother Tracy Shrieve of Jacobsburg, OH, two sisters; Janet (Wayne) Blinco of Jacobsburg, OH and Lydia (Fred) Brunstetter of St. Clairsville, OH, and six grandchildren; Logan, Lorna and Luke Shebeck, Addison Alessi, Laiden Rayner and David Freese. He is also survived by Jessie Lou Williams and her late husband Bill. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, Mar. 22, 2013 at 12:00 pm with Pastor James Ogden officiating.
