Hazel G. Perkins, 84, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born June 20, 1927 in Powhatan Point, Ohio, daughter of the late Alonzo Van Dyne and Esther Buri Van Dyne. Hazel was a lifelong farmer's wife, a Christian by faith, and a member of Belmont Ridge Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald A. Perkins; sister, Olive Van Dyne; and step-mother, Dortha Van Dyne. Hazel is survived by daughters, Janice (Michael) Anderson-Bash of Zanesville, Ohio and Joyce (Robert) Hathaway of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and grandson, Randall (Cortney) Bostic, Jr. Friends may visit, Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio where services will be conducted, Tuesday 11 a.m. Dr. Brad Call will be officiating.
