Hector J. Macri Hector J. Macri,, 75, of Cervina Dr. N.,Venice, FL, formerly of Concord St., Martins Ferry, OH, died Thurs., Mar. 14, 2002 at the home of his son in Caldwell, OH. He was born Jul. 29, 1926 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Emil and Teresa Campiti Macri. He was the first State Farm Agent in Martins Ferry, the former district agency manager for State Farm Insurance with over 32 years service, a member of the College of Life Underwriters, past president of the Martins Ferry Rotary Club, American Legion Post #38 of Martins Ferry, and was a veteran of the US Navy WWII. In addition to his parents he preceded in death by a son Ronald J. Macri. Surviving are his wife Marjorie L. Gautschi Macri, two sons Mark A. Macri and his wife Terri J. of St. Clairsville and Kevin L. Macri of Caldwell, a daughter Denise Miller and her husband John of North East, PA, two brothers Claude Macri of Wheeling and Harold Macri and his wife Betty of Bay Village, OH, a sister Wanda Zizes and her husband Peter of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and six grandchildren Duffy, Becky, and Zane Miller and Austin, Audra, and Alexa Macri. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Sat. 7-9 PM and Sun. 12-3 & 7-9 PM. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Mon. at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with full military graveside honors by the Belmont Co. Council of the American Legion. Rosary devotions will be recited Sun. at 3:00 PM followed by Wake services at 7:30 PM both in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Martins Ferry Rotary Club or American Legion Post #38.
