Helen M. Thornton 91, 0f Massillon formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday July 20, 2023, at the home of her nephew. She was born June 3, 1932, in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Henry Clark.

She was a retired elevator operator, and a member of the Church of God in Brookside.

In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Thornton.

She is survived by her nephew Donald (Sandy) Clark of Massillon.

According to Helen's wishes there will be no visitation and private interment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wilson Funeral Home 920 national Road Brookside assisting the family.
