Helen Y. (Dayton), Snyder, 60 of Memorial Park Rd., Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, Apr. 30, 2008 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, OH. She was born July 25, 1947 in Jefferson County a daughter of the late Earl E. and Minnie (Wines) Dayton. She was a member of the Riverview Bible Church, Bridgeport, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Harold Dayton and a sister Marlene Jackson. Surviving are her husband John C. Snyder, four sons Charles (Theresa) Heath, Jr. and Bryan (Tammy) Heath both of Wheeling, WV,Clayton Capita of Blaine, OH and Chris Capita of Martins Ferry, three daughters Kelly (Mitch) Marshall of Lansing, OH, Tiffany and Tara Snyder both of Martins Ferry, two sisters Sharon (Ralph) Linn of Bridgeport, OH and Diana Lutz of Martins Ferry, seven grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 11:00 AM until time of memorial service at 1:00 pm at the Grace Presbyterian Church, 400 Hanover St., Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. William Webster officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the family in care of John Snyder, 1 Memorial Park Rd., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
