Helen Hodgekiss, 76, of Shadyside, Ohio, died Monday March 24, 2008 at the Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling WV. Helen was a member of the Shadyside Catholic Church. She was born November 18, 1931 a daughter of the late Louis and Eva Fourment Baudaillier. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a son, Patrick A. Hodgekiss; and a sister, Alice. She is survived by her husband of fifty four years, Willard O. Hodgekiss; a son, Louis E. Hodgekiss and his wife Dorene of Columbus, OH; a sister Evelyn Kunczt and her husband Anthony of Peru, Indiana; three grandsons, Eric, Andrew and Christopher. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shadyside at Noon on Thursday with Father Samual R. Saprano as celebrant. Interment will follow at Linnwood Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio.
