Helen V. (Marco) Norden, 85, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born March 17, 1928 in Benwood, WV, a daughter of the late Dan and Florence (Viscoglosi) Marco. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Norden, Sr. and a sister Rosemary Cunningham. Surviving are her sons; Robert A. (Cindy) Norden, Jr. of Scott Depot, WV and Ronald D. Norden of Martins Ferry, her sister, Elvera Stone of Florence, KY, a brother, Fred Marco of Glen Dale, WV, and two grandchildren; Nicolas and Christopher Norden. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Marut the celebrant. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Rosary Devotions will be held Wednesday at 3:00 pm followed by Wake Services at 7:30 pm both in the funeral home.
