HELEN VIRGINIA MILHORN, 92, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born July 21, 1915 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Bert and Alice (Sullivan) Byrd. Helen was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport and was a retired underwriter for Poe and Associates in Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Louis Milhorn; a son James Milhorn; and two brothers Clarence and Bert Byrd. Helen is survived by a daughter Patricia Ann Herbert of Annapolis, MD; a brother Robert Byrd of Tonawanda, NY; a sister Betty Maurer of Bridgeport; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where Vigil services will be held at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home with Monsignor Thomas Petronek officiating. Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
