Helen Julia Pensis, 92, of Yorkville, Ohio, formerly of Dillonvale, passed Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Rosewood Manor, Yorkville. She was born in Dillonvale on September 21, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Poniedzalek Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry J. Pensis Jr. in 1987; a grandson Lawrence Pensis II; brothers, Joseph, Charles, Stanley, Mitchell and Edward Miller; sisters, Anna Gall and Bertha Horsky. She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, CWC and the Rosary Society, Fireman's Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Monthly Card Party, and sang in the St. Adalbert Choir. Helen was a devoted worker and friend of the Church. Helen is survived by sons, Lawrence Pensis of Sandusky, OH, Bruce (Dianna) Pensis of Rayland; sister, Theresa Pensis of Cleveland, OH; sister-in-law, Evelyn Miller; four grandchildren, Lori, Sonya, Bryan, Kerri; six great-grandchildren, Cammeron, Myka, Austin, Cody, Courtney, Mary; numerous nieces and nephews and all her lady friends. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale where vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale, with Msgr.
