Helen E. Sempkowski 61 of Howard St. Bridgeport died Tuesday November 2, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born March 21, 1949 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Helen Baudiler Covington. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John H. Sempkowski, a brother Jerry Covington, and a sister Eileen Mazlik. Helen is survived by a son Thomas Thomas Jr. (Mallisa) of Cadiz, a daughter Kimberly Russell of Bridgeport, three brothers Claude Covington (Brenda) of Chicago Ill. Louis Bain (Kate) of St. Clairsville, James Bain (Deloris) of Colerain, and Roger Covington (Debbie) of Tiltonsville, six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Wednesday November 10, 2010 from 10 am till time of service at 1 pm, with Rev. James Hoff officiating.
