Helen L. (Stullenburg) Mitchell, 87, of Colerain Pike, Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born May 23, 1920 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Lawrence C. and Bronwen (Jones) Stullenburg. She was a life time member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry, and the Holiday Rambler RV Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Adam J. Mitchell, a son Robert A. Mitchell, two daughters Carol Thompson and Judith L. Biehl, and a brother Earl Stullenburg. Surviving are a son James (Ginny) Mitchell of Martins Ferry, a sister Beverly Yanczura of Martins Ferry, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday Dec. 28, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Minister Bill Fulton officiating.
