Helen Szabies, 98, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Wednesday February 17, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born in Gaylord, OH, on November 11, 1917, a daughter of the late John and Katherine Janos Kimosh. Helen was a retired employee of the former Imperial Clevite Corp., and a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles G. Szabies Sr. in 2007; a son Charles G. "Chuck" Szabies Jr., an infant daughter Patricia Ann Szabies; brothers: John, Joseph and Frank Kimosh; and a sister Mary Tocash. Helen is survived by a daughter Norma Teasdale of Bridgeport, two grandsons; Robert (Theresa) David (Teresa); three great-granddaughters; Marissa, Jennifer, Gabbrial (Chris); and one great-great grandson Tyler. Friends will be received Saturday February 20, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, with Rev.
