Obituary

Helen "Honey" Virginia Puperi, 67, of Belmont, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Barnesville Hospital. She was born on December 3, 1958, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Ralph and Anne (Conyers) Noice. Honey was Catholic by faith and was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Barnesville. She retired from the Union Local School System, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and was an avid Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame fan.

Honey is survived by her two sons,  Michael (Barb) Puperi and Zach (Emma) Puperi; two daughters, Marla (Leslie Huffman) Perry and Nicole (Ashley  Barker) Puperi; five grandchildren, Jordan, Sophia, Luke, Isaac, and Maddie; three brothers, Dennis (Paula) Noice, Thomas (Teresa) Noice, and Kenneth (Catherine) Noice; a sister, Betty Ann Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry Ambrose Puperi; a brother, James "Jim" Noice; and a brother-in-law, Joe Hamilton.

Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will be held in Holly Memorial, Pleasant Grove at a later date.
