Helena K. Pcionek, 89, of Broadway St., Martins Ferry, OH died Tues, Nov. 15, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Feb. 12, 1922 in Lafferty, OH a daughter of the late Thomas and Josephine (Wcislo) Pcionek. Helena was catholic by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Frank and Steve Pcionek, and three sisters Stella Pcionek, Victoria Veloski, and Sally Hickman. Surviving are a brother Joseph Pcionek of Tarpon Springs, FL, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, November 18, 2011 from 4:00 pm until time of service at 5:30 pm with Fr. Tom Marut officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, OH at the convenience of the family.
