Henry I. Wojtasek, 59 of Bridgeport formerly of Martins Ferry, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born December 15, 1964, the son of the late, Henry and E. Carletta (Stevens) Wojtasek.

Henry was a proud veteran of the United States Army Reserves, a retired auto body technician, and most recently worked with his wife at their family business, as an installer for Bashore Draperies.  He was Christian by faith and a proud graduate of Martins Ferry High School, Class of 1982.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Suzanne (Bashore) Wojtasek, his pride and joy his daughters, Jessica (Josh Jaffe) Wojtasek, Christine (Tim) Barber, grandson, William Donovan Barber, father-in-law, William "Don" Bashore and last but not least his beloved dog, Ozzy.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 4-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, OH.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 11am here at the funeral home, with Rev. James Hoff officiating.  Military Honors will be presented by the Belmont County Veterans Association at the Holly Memorial Gardens, with burial to follow.
