Hilda C. (Fitzgerald) Sullivan, 87, of Flushing, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center. She was born December 24, 1927 in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Howard and Rebecca (Stephen) Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Zip" Sullivan; son, George Dickerson; grandson, Kelly Wilson; sisters, Ruth Shipley, Margurite Howell, Verna Schlatt, Irene Fitzgerald, Rosetta Buckles; and brothers, Donald and John Fitzgerald. Hilda is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Ed) Small of Lakeland, Florida, Debbie (Larry) Ferguson of Cadiz, Ohio; grandchildren, Chad and Clint Ferguson, Keri Shepard, Kathy Jo Wardwell, Michelle Wyatt; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, David, Denver, and Michael Fitzgerald; and sister, Doris (Paul) Bartley. Honoring Hilda's wishes, services and interment will be conducted privately and at the convenience of her immediate family. The family would like to thank the staff members of Hospice, Medi Home Health Care, and Cumberland Pointe for all their kindness shown to Hilda.
