HOWARD L. DAVIS

Howard L. Davis, 87, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away, August 7, 2021.  He was born August 16, 1933 in Bannock, Ohio, son of the late Floyd and Hilda Davis.

Also preceding Howard in death was his wife of 63 years, Betty Davis; brother, Lloyd Davis; sisters, Evelyn Metts and Harriett Fisher

Howard and the legacy he leaves behind will be remembered by those who survive; sons, Thomas (Anita) Davis and Stephen Davis all of Bethesda; granddaughters, Jessica Davis of Virginia, Sierra Davis of Bethesda; great-granddaughter, Alice Davis; and great-great-grandson, John Davis.

A member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Howard served the Bethesda community for many years as a member of the fire department and chief.  He also enjoyed hunting.

Visitation for family and friends will take place, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, where Howard's service will take place on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Dr. Brian Bee, Pastor will officiate.  Interment will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.  A Last Call Service, presented by the Bethesda Fire Department, will be held Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
