MACKEY, Howard W., 75, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Saturday January 8, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on June 3, 1935, a son of the late Walter H. and Ada Milhoan Mackey. Howard was a retired employee of Centre Foundry, Warwood; a member of the Dillonvale Presbyterian Church; Dillonvale American Legion, McCook Post #529; a member of Colerain VFW and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sondra Bailey Mackey in 2002. Howard is survived by a son Howard L. (Karen) Mackey of St. Clairsville; three daughters: Leiann Cline (Roger), Lisa Chambers, all of Colerain; Dana Welch (Ray) of Temcula, Calif.; grandchildren: Danielle Cline; Kayla & Bradley Mackey; Delaney & Abagail Welch; a brother, Walter Mackey Jr. (Norma) of Nitro, WV., brother-in-law, Richard Bailey (Judy) of Colerain; Niece: Kim Byrd (Daniel) and their son Darian of Strawsburg, PA., niece and nephew, Sherry and Christopher Mackey of MI., Niece Peaches Charboneau and husband of Virginia Beach, VA., good friend Becky Steiner of Adena. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on January 22, 2011 at 1:00p.m. at the Dillonvale Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Michael Lenno, officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Colerain VFW Post #8848 and the Dillonvale American Legion, McCook Post #529.
