Howard William "Bill" Atwood, 80, of Dillonvale, OH, passed Saturday January 2, 2016. He was born in Mount Pleasant, OH, on March 25, 1935, a son of the late Howard and Bertha Wilson Atwood. Bill was a member of Pine Valley Sportsman Club, Lions Club, and owner of the Atwood Home. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Monica Atwood Custer. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Alice Mae (Hayman) Atwood; a son: Howard Douglas Atwood of New Philadelphia, OH, daughters: Alice (Jess) Pugh of Dillonvale, Lee Ann Lewis of Mount Pleasant; a brother Richard (Rhea) Atwood of Vanworth, OH, a sister Nancy Briggs of Mount Pleasant; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, where services will be held Wednesday January 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
